This was a simple uni assignment that tasked me to create some simple portraits while in a photography studio. I was very luck that my friend Ravelle was up to being my model, which was so helpful as it allowed me to learn how to guide poses in an environment where I was comfortable. My favourite parts about these images is the high contrast between Ravelle's skin tone and wide eyes up against her dark hair and the low-key lighting, that allowed her natural bush cheeks and lips to shine through.
